ELYX cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by ELYX. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 01/04/2022, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This Privacy Policy describes which kind of information about you we collected, where this data is used for and with whom and under what conditions this data can possibly be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide us. Webshop software
WooCommerce
Our webshop is developed with software from WooCommerce, we have opted for RTM Business for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. RTM Business has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. RTM Business is mandatory on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are regularly made to prevent data loss.
WooCommerce
Our webshop is developed with software from WooCommerce, we host our web store on a server under our own management. We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. These security measures among other things consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are regularly made to prevent data loss.
Webhosting
RTM Business
We use web hosting and e-mail services from RTM Business. RTM processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. RTM has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. RTM is obliged to observe secrecy on the grounds of the agreement.
E-mail and mailing lists
Mail Chimp
We send our e-mail newsletters with Mail Chimp. Mail Chimp will never use your name and e-mail address for own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail, which is sent automatically via our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will no longer receive our newsletter if you unsubscribe. Your personal data is stored securely by Mail Chimp. Mail Chimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. Mail Chimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties.
RTM Business
We use the services of RTM for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. RTM has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
Rabobank (Netherlands)
We use the platform of Rabobank for handling a (part of) the payments in our webshop. Rabobank processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account. Rabobank has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Rabobank reserves the right to use your data to further improve services and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above mentioned safeguards, regarding to the protection of your personal data, also applies to the parts of Rabobank services for which they engage third parties. Rabobank does not store your data on the basis of the legal terms.
Shipping and logistics
PostNL, DPD, FedEx and DHL
If you buy a product, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL, DPD, FedEx and DHL and DPD for the execution of the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL, DPD, FedEx and DHL. PostNL, DPD, FedEx and DHL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement.
Invoicing and accounting
Exact Online
For the records of our administration and accounting we use the services of Exact Online. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used for managing sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored protected. Exact Online is obliged to observe secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. Exact Online does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Retention periods
We keep your information as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request for forgiveness. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations we submit invoices with your (personal) data, we will keep this information for as long as the applicable term is in effect. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.
Your rights
Based on the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data that is processed by or on behalf of us. Underneath we explain which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. To prevent abuse, we will send transcripts and copies of your data only to your already known e-mail address. In the event that you wish to receive the data at another e-mail address or for example by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests, in case of a request for forgiveness we administer anonymous data. You will receive all transcripts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
